Cambodia’s Tourism: A Rich Cultural and Heritage Destination Spanning the Nation
With the high-level endorsement from Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei HUN MANET, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, in the afternoon of May 24, 2025, His Excellency HUOT Hak, Minister of Tourism, warmly welcomed and accompanied His Excellency Xu Kunlin, Governor of Jiangsu Province of the People’s Republic of China, and his delegation on a visit to the National Museum in Phnom Penh.
The purpose of the visit was to explore and understand Cambodia’s rich culture and civilization, its long-standing and vibrant history, as well as its admirable customs and traditions that have evolved through the ages. The visit also highlighted the exquisite ancient artifacts preserved from various historical periods of Cambodia’s glorious past—especially underscoring the long-standing and close relations between Cambodia and China, from ancient times to the present day.
