New cooperation page between the Ministry of Tourism and the University of Cappadocia for tourism vocational training (tour guide, hospitality and culinary) and the strategic plan to attract international tourists
Istanbul: On the morning of April 23, 2025, His Excellency Huot Hak, Minister of Tourism, granted Professor Dr. Hasan Ali Karasar, Rector of Cappadocia University, a working meeting focused on tourism professional training and sharing experiences in planning sustainable, green, inclusive tourism development strategies and value-added tourism. Through this important and fruitful meeting, the Ministry of Tourism and the university will establish cooperation in the tourism sector through a Memorandum of Understanding project aimed at sharing experiences and long-term and short-term trainings. It is to note that the Professor Dr. has played a key and significant role in developing sustainable tourism plans and initiatives for the Ministry of Tourism and Culture of Türkiye and several other countries, and The University of Cappadocia is considered a leading and successful university in training higher tourism professionals (such as tour guide, hospitality and culinary).
